Stainless steels are solid materials. They are available in a variety of surface finishes that give them different levels of reflectivity and different textures. Stainless steels can be coloured by vaporizing a titanium alloy on the surface.

Stainless steel is available in grades to meet on-site climate conditions, typically AISI 304 and AISI 316L.
